- High Risk Pregnancy
All families look forward to a healthy pregnancy and baby. For most
families this is the case, but unfortunately not for all. Some patients
experience unexpected challenges and difficulties. A high-risk pregnancy
means that a patient has a greater chance of complications. Most often
these complications are unexpected while others can be planned for due
to known health risk factors with the patient’s history. Our physicians
have a great deal of experience caring for and treating mothers and
unborn babies of high-risk pregnancies. A healthy lifestyle and getting
regular prenatal care are ways patients can help in the care of their
developing baby.
